This polymer spool is built for heavy-duty applications and will take a lot of abuse. Despite its strength, it weighs the same as other similarly-sized spools. It also has a lower profile which sits easier inside thigh pockets.
The high-viz DuPont Dacron™ line is thinner than normal line, yet many times stronger. The durable orange colour remains vibrant over time, unlike ordinary dyed nylon cave line which slowly fades to white.
